Our aim
This website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Patients coming to an orthopedic practice frequently have limited use of an arm or hand, so this matters more here than it does on most sites.
What that means in practice
- Every page can be operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator
- Text and interface colors meet AA contrast ratios in both light and dark mode
- The site respects your operating system's reduced motion and color scheme settings
- Text resizes without breaking the layout, and no information is conveyed by color alone
- Headings and landmarks are structured so screen readers can navigate the page
