Your arthroscopic surgery will be a day procedure, which means you will go home the same day of your surgery.
The day before your surgery, between the hours of 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, the Patient Access/ Admitting Dept. at the surgical facility will call you with the ARRIVAL TIME and the time of your surgical procedure.
- Please be advised that you must have a ride home by a responsible adult from the Surgery center after your procedure. No Exceptions Apply.
- If you require any pre-operative testing, our office will arrange the testing through your primary care physician or other medical specialist. If you require testing, the results must be sent to our office 1-2 weeks prior to your procedure.
- You may not have anything to eat or drink after midnight the night prior to your surgery, unless the Surgery Center Medical Staff advises you differently. If you take daily medications, please contact the Surgery Center Staff or your Primary Care Physician for instructions Anesthesia reserves the right to cancel any surgery if these instructions are not followed.
***Please do not wear any jewelry to the Surgery Facility. We recommend you wear loose fitting, comfortable clothes. We also strongly urge you to have a responsible person remain with you the first night after your surgery.
